Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to sessions booked through The Prompt Atelier®. The legal operator is identified in our Legal Notice.

Contact address: Bleicherweg 64a, 8002 Zürich, Switzerland

Email: sessions@thepromptatelier.ch

1. Sessions and pricing

The Prompt Atelier offers guided, AI-inspired painting sessions lasting approximately 90 minutes.

The total price is CHF 79 per person, including painting materials, tea, guidance and any applicable mandatory charges. No previous painting experience is required.

Each session has up to four seats. A booking for two, three or four people makes the session private: the atelier is reserved exclusively for that group. Customers may book one to four seats, subject to availability. A booking for two, three or four is only possible for a session without other bookings.

2. Booking and confirmation

A seat is confirmed only after:

  • The amount required during checkout has been successfully received; and
  • The Prompt Atelier has issued a booking confirmation by email.

The required amount will normally be the full session price. If a deposit or payment-at-the-atelier arrangement is expressly offered, the confirmation email will show the amount paid and any outstanding balance.

An incomplete, abandoned or failed payment does not create a confirmed booking, and the requested seat may be released.

A customer wishing to pay at the atelier without completing an online payment must obtain written confirmation from The Prompt Atelier. An enquiry or payment failure does not by itself reserve a seat.

Customers are responsible for checking that the date, time, number of seats and contact details shown in the confirmation are correct.

3. Payment

Online payments are processed by Worldline Switzerland Ltd through its Saferpay payment solution.

Available payment methods may include TWINT, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The methods currently available are displayed during checkout.

Worldline processes payment information through its secure systems. The Prompt Atelier does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes.

If a confirmed booking has an outstanding balance, it must be paid at the atelier before the session begins unless another arrangement has been confirmed in writing.

Payments at the atelier may be accepted for outstanding balances, confirmed walk-in or last-minute bookings, additional sessions and optional materials or extras.

4. Changes to a booking

A confirmed booking may be moved to another available session without charge if the change is requested at least 24 hours before the original session’s starting time.

Changes requested less than 24 hours before the session are not guaranteed and may be treated as a late cancellation. Rescheduling is always subject to availability.

A change may be requested through any booking-management function made available to the customer or by emailing sessions@thepromptatelier.ch.

A requested change is effective only after The Prompt Atelier confirms it.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations received at least 24 hours before the session’s starting time qualify for a full refund of the amount paid.

Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the session, and failures to attend, are non-refundable.

Cancellation requests may be submitted through any cancellation function made available to the customer or by emailing sessions@thepromptatelier.ch. The time at which the request is received determines whether the 24-hour deadline has been met.

Approved refunds will be returned through the original payment method where reasonably possible. If the original method cannot be used, another suitable refund method will be agreed with the customer.

The time required for a refund to appear depends on the payment provider and the customer’s financial institution.

6. Cancellation by The Prompt Atelier

If The Prompt Atelier cancels a session, the affected customer may choose:

  • A place in another available session; or
  • A full refund of the session price paid.

The Prompt Atelier will inform affected customers using the contact details provided with the booking.

7. Attendance and late arrival

Customers should arrive a few minutes before the scheduled starting time. Sessions begin promptly.

Late arrival may reduce the time available to participate and does not create an entitlement to an extension, rescheduling or refund.

Failure to attend is treated as a no-show under Section 5.

8. Materials, safety and conduct

Painting materials supplied for a session are intended for use at the atelier during that session unless otherwise stated.

Art materials may stain clothing or personal belongings. Participants should dress appropriately and follow reasonable instructions concerning the safe use of materials and equipment.

Customers should inform The Prompt Atelier in advance of any relevant allergies or accessibility requirements. Although reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate individual needs, the atelier cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

The Prompt Atelier may refuse or end participation where a person’s behaviour is dangerous, seriously disruptive, abusive or inappropriate. No refund is due where participation is refused or ended for these reasons.

9. Personal belongings and liability

Participants remain responsible for their personal belongings.

To the extent permitted by Swiss law, The Prompt Atelier is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from attendance or from the cancellation of a session.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury where liability cannot legally be excluded, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Swiss law.

10. Personal data

Personal data collected through the website, booking process, communications and payments is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Worldline processes payment information in accordance with Worldline’s own privacy notice.

11. Changes to these Terms

The Terms applicable to a booking are those presented to and accepted by the customer when the booking is placed.

The Prompt Atelier may update these Terms for future bookings. An update does not retrospectively change an existing confirmed booking unless required by law or agreed with the customer.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law.

The competent courts are determined by applicable mandatory legal provisions. Where no mandatory place of jurisdiction applies, the courts of Zürich have jurisdiction.

13. Contact

Questions, cancellation notices and requests to change a booking may be sent to sessions@thepromptatelier.ch.
